Fluorosint Grades
Fluorosint-500
Fluorosint® 500 is celebrated for its superior dimensional stability. It offers deformation under load that is significantly lower, up to nine times less, than that of unfilled PTFE. This grade also provides excellent resistance to chemicals and can operate continuously at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). Such qualities make it perfect for applications in sealing where precise dimensional control is essential.
Shapes Offered
Fluorosint-207
Fluorosint® 207 meets food contact regulations while delivering remarkable dimensional stability and exceptional sliding and wear properties. Known for its incredibly low coefficient of friction, this grade excels in demanding applications like bearings and bushings within the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing sectors.
Shapes Offered
Fluorosint-HPV
Fluorosint® HPV is a high-grade material recognized for its suitability in high-pressure velocity settings. Compliant with FDA standards, it provides outstanding wear resistance and excellent load-bearing capabilities. This grade is particularly beneficial for equipment in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries where both regulatory compliance and high performance are crucial.
Shapes Offered
Fluorosint-MT-01
Fluorosint® MT-01 is designed for use in environments that require exceptional strength, stiffness, and stability at elevated temperatures. This material retains the low-friction properties of PTFE but with enhanced mechanical strength, making it a go-to choice for seals and wear components exposed to high thermal conditions.
Shapes Offered
Fluorosint-135
Fluorosint® 135 stands out for offering the lowest wear rate among Fluorosint grades and demonstrates high chemical inertness. Its applications encompass compressor piston rings, pump and valve wear parts, seals, bearings, thrust washers, rider bands, and packing sets.
