Delrin Grades
Delrin-100-AF
This PTFE-filled acetal homopolymer is reinforced with 13% PTFE fiber, significantly reducing friction and improving wear resistance. Known for its smooth operation and long service life, Delrin® 100 AF is frequently used in sliding and rotating components, including bushings, bearings, and conveyor system parts. Its ability to withstand continuous motion and resist wear makes it a strong choice for high-load mechanical systems.
Shapes Offered
Delrin-100-AF-20-PTFE
For even lower friction and extended wear life, this grade increases PTFE content to 20%, making it ideal for high-speed moving parts and dry-running applications. It’s commonly used in automated conveyor belts, industrial machinery, and mechanical components that require self-lubrication and consistent performance under heavy loads.
Shapes Offered
Delrin-13-PTFE-Blend
Blended with 13% PTFE, this Delrin® grade balances lubricity, durability, and load-bearing strength. It's a preferred material for high-wear components such as gears, rollers, and cam followers, where reducing friction and extending lifespan are key priorities. Manufacturers choose it for precision-machined parts that must maintain performance over time without excessive maintenance.
Shapes Offered
Delrin-50
Designed for high-impact mechanical applications, Delrin® 150 offers exceptional tensile strength and dimensional stability. It machines easily, making it ideal for structural components, bushings, and gear housings that require tight tolerances and long-term reliability. This grade is widely used in industrial automation, aerospace components, and high-stress mechanical assemblies.
Shapes Offered
Delrin-511P
Optimized for high-temperature applications, Delrin® 511P features enhanced thermal stability and improved crystallization. It’s commonly used in automotive fuel system components, valve seats, and industrial pumps, where precision molding and resistance to fuel or chemicals are crucial. This grade ensures consistent performance under heat and chemical exposure while maintaining structural integrity over time.
Shapes Offered
Delrin-AF-Blend
Blending PTFE with acetal homopolymer, this grade delivers reduced friction and improved wear resistance for high-load applications. It’s well-suited for heavy-duty mechanical systems, industrial robotics, and load-bearing bushings, where minimizing friction and maximizing part lifespan are essential. This blend is a strong choice for high-cycle operations that demand durability without constant lubrication.
