Radel® Plastic

R-5000 is a transparent PPSU that offers strong hydrolytic stability and toughness in both hot water and steam environments. It’s often used where clarity, long-term durability, and chemical resistance are needed, such as in fluid handling and healthcare components.

This opaque grade is ideal for molded parts that require excellent impact strength and heat resistance. R-5100 performs well in demanding environments, making it a strong fit for housings, connectors, and high-temperature mechanical components.

R-5500 is suited for extrusion and thermoforming, offering a good balance of strength, heat resistance, and chemical stability. It's often used in parts that need to retain form and performance after repeated sterilization or exposure to cleaning agents.

This grade provides higher melt flow, making it ideal for complex molds or thin-walled parts where flow length is critical. It maintains the same high impact and chemical resistance typical of the Radel® family while improving processability for precision designs.

R-5900 offers moderate melt viscosity for longer flow and easier processing. It’s often selected when consistent molding performance is needed across larger, high-precision parts that operate in chemically aggressive or high-heat environments.

Reinforced with 10% glass fiber, RG-5010 delivers greater stiffness and dimensional control under heat and load. It’s commonly used in components exposed to steam, pressure, or cleaning cycles, especially in sterilization or sanitation systems.

With 30% glass fiber reinforcement, RG-5030 maximizes strength and heat resistance. This grade is designed for structural applications where the material must endure mechanical stress, sterilization, and frequent chemical exposure without losing integrity.
