About thyssenkrupp Materials NA Canada Hero Banner

tk accelis Materials Plus, formerly thyssenkrupp Materials NA (in Canada only – represented as thyssenkrupp Materials CA, LTD), supports customers with metals, engineered plastics, value-added processing, and digital tools that simplify the way materials are sourced, managed, and delivered. We work with manufacturers, fabricators, OEMs, maintenance teams, and procurement professionals to provide the right material, in the right form, with the right documentation, exactly when it is needed.

Our capabilities span copper, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, bronze, nickel, and engineered plastics, supported by services including cutting, slitting, blanking, fabrication, packaging, shipment coordination, and inventory programs designed around repeat demand. For many customers, the value extends beyond the material itself. It is the time saved before production begins, the reliability of supply, and the expertise and service our teams bring to every order.

Our Canadian fabrication roots date back to 1974, when operations began under the name Peckovers Manufacturing. That legacy continues to shape how we support customers today. We understand that material supply is about more than availability. It involves specifications, tolerances, downstream processing, documentation, scheduling, and the day-to-day pressure of keeping production moving.

Our name may have evolved, but our purpose has stayed consistent. Today, as tk accelis Materials Plus, customers benefit from local support backed by expanded North American sourcing, processing, and supply chain capabilities.

Metals, plastics, and specialty materials support

tk accelis Materials Plus supports a broad range of material needs, with a strong foundation in metals and growing support for engineering plastics.

  • Copper: Copper is widely used for its excellent conductivity, thermal performance, corrosion resistance, and ease of fabrication. Customers typically choose copper for bus bars, connectors, power distribution components, electrical applications, and precision parts.
  • Aluminum: Aluminum supports applications needing lightweight strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, and formability. It's used in aerospace, industrial, automotive, electrical, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Stainless steel: Stainless steel is chosen for strength, durability, corrosion resistance, hygiene, and long life. It is used in medical, aerospace, industrial, food-processing, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Brass, Bronze, and Nickel: Brass, Bronze, and Nickel alloys are used where machinability, wear, corrosion resistance, conductivity, or high-performance properties matter.
  • Engineered plastics and polymer materials: Engineered plastics reduce weight, improve wear, insulate electrically, resist chemicals, and suit non-metal applications. Via the Canadian PLUS website and support team, customers find online plastics like HDPE, Teflon PTFE, and UHMW, with other grades available on request.

Services That Move Material Closer to Production

Our services help customers reduce internal handling and shorten production steps, so they receive material closer to the form they need.

Cutting and Processing Services

Customers can use our processing services to support repeat production, tighter dimensional requirements, and more efficient material preparation. Common services include:

  1. Cut to length processing for sheet, plate, bar, tube, angles, channels, and extrusions.
  2. Precision cutting for tighter dimensional requirements and production ready material.
  3. Slitting for coil processing and repeat width requirements
  4. Waterjet cutting for complex profiles, near-net shapes, strong edge quality, and no heat-affected zone.
  5. First operation blanking to help customers begin production faster.
  6. Plastic tube cutting for repeat requirements and qualifying programs

Fabrication and Supply Chain Programs

Beyond cutting and processing, tk accelis Materials Plus can support customers with fabrication, custom extrusions, kitting, packaging, labelling, warehousing, transportation coordination, inspection, and documentation support.

For repeat requirements, customers can also work with our team on scheduled releases, inventory programs, vendor-managed inventory, service-level agreements, material forecasting, consolidated shipments, and coordinated delivery plans.

The goal is to accelerate performance and increase value for our customers. We do this by taking steps that save time, reduce variation, and help your team focus on final machining, assembly, installation, or production.
