Tecapeek Grades

Manufactured by Ensinger, TECAPEEK is a brand name of Polyetheretherketone (PEEK)—a high-performance, high-temperature, semi-crystalline thermoplastic. TECAPEEK is well-suited to extreme environments, providing advanced resistance to harsh chemicals, hydrolysis, and the ability to operate at high temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). Additionally, TECAPEEK offers excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability even under thermal load.

Due to its unique characteristics enabling high performance in extreme environments, TECAPEEK is widely used for demanding applications across various industries, including aerospace, aircraft, food technology, oil and gas, chemical plant engineering, semiconductor technology, medical technology, automotive, process engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Features and Benefits of TECAPEEK

  • High tolerance to heat
  • Good heat deflection temperature
  • Easy to machine
  • Excellent sliding and wear properties
  • High creep stability
  • Excellent resistance to chemicals
  • Resistant to hydrolysis and superheated steam
  • Available with different fillers to enhance properties for specific applications
